Deadly Ponies represents the united worlds of creators Liam Bowden and Katie Smith. A passion for sculptural arts, crafts and tactile design brought the pair together and from their collaboration grew the world in which Deadly Ponies lives. From the moody well of forgotten childhood, DPs vision integrates a world of mishmash thoughts and ideas drawing inspiration from the world of the enchanted forest. Hathor's Revenge! Spring/Summer 09/10

For Spring/Summer 09/10 Deadly Ponies have taken inspiration from the part mythological part imaginary character Hathor. A juxtaposition between Hathor, the powerful Egyptian goddess and a 21st century Hathor living in a ramshackle home, surrounded by cats, falcons and spider webs. Hathor hated her fall from grace?.. her transition from Egyptian beauty to modern day mess???

Spider web slings taken straight from Hathow's spider web hairstyle. Bat wing slings and mailman's have un-wrapped their wings to display themselves on bags. Falcon's have flown from their steeples to lift up baby Mailman's and carry them to the nearest shoulder. Black cats usually at Hathor's side have knotted themselves around the nearest neck and waists. Continuing with their body wear Deadly Ponies have added skirts, singlet's and jackets in both leather and knitted cotton this season. Bat wing's as collar and spider webs knitted into singlet's, leather paper bag skirts and boyfriend jackets.

Beware of Hathor this season because she is hungry for REVENGE!!
